We strive to be a community that demonstrates the love of Jesus
not
only to our children, but also to our families, so that anyone can see
that "surely He is in this place." We build community through volunteer
activities and fellowship events, but most importantly through prayer.
Our Moms In Touch group provides the school with a powerful
prayer network. They meet every Thursday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. to pray for the school, for specific families, and the community's needs. Please join us if you are able!
As a parent-run school, Ann Arbor Christian School relies on the
time and energy of parents who work with the teachers and principal to
remain focused on its vision. Mothers and fathers come prepared to
serve!
"At this school, parents come willing to serve and what that says about us is that we are following the example of Jesus Christ who said I came to serve not to be served. And that’s the example our children see, they see their parents helping out at school here. They see them serving and I think that’s an example that’s being set for a lifetime for them."
