Have questions about our giving plan? Please contact our Principal by email or phone, 734.741.4948, ext. 116.

We ask that you join other generous people who are investing in students’ lives.  Your financial gifts and prayer support will help us continue to provide Christ-centered education in Ann Arbor.  We are a 501(c)(3) organization, so your contribution is tax deductible.  Donations can be pledges of financial support over time, gifts, donations of stock, property, annuities, or gifts in kind.
  • Reduce our debt. We plan to dramatically reduce the principal on the remaining portion of our facility loan before the next refinancing cycle in 2013.  Currently, we owe $740,000 on the loan.  This past year, we received gifts and pledges of $72,000 to pay down the debt.
  • Close the gap. Because AACS believes that a Christian education should be available to all Christian families, our tuition does not cover the cost of educating each student.  This year the gap is $980 per student, or $132,336.  Your donation will help to close this gap and ensure that we continue to offer an innovative curriculum that integrates faith and learning while keeping the cost of tuition down.
  • Tuition assistance program. This program is designed to help qualifying families in financial need.  Donations will be used to assist families who have a demonstrated financial need.  Individual donations to this fund are tax deductible and cannot be earmarked for a specific family.
  • Shelly's Hope scholarship fund. For those in even greater need, we offer full scholarships through Shelly's Hope Scholarship Fund.
  • For L.I.F.E.  Our new funding plan, for L.I.F.E., should, with God's blessing, raise sufficient capital for the future to eliminate our debt and provide for the next generation of AACS students.  For information on this important opportunity, please contact our Principal by e-mail. You can easily set up automatic credit card withdrawals by downloading and completing the authorization form.  We also have one time giving opportunities through PayPal, above.

Each year, our staff prioritizes items we would like to have as a school. These items would enhance our educational offerings, but are not within our budget. If you have a desire to make these dreams a reality, please contact us.

We believe God has a plan for our school.  We saw that in the way God enabled us to raise $3 million or 75 percent of the funds needed, to pay for our building's construction in 2003.  On average, over the 19 year history of Ann Arbor Christian School, about $208,000 has been given by school supporters each year.  With God’s guidance and the commitment of  faithful supporters, this school has been established as a strong, prospering presence in the community.  We daily see examples of Christ building a spiritual foundation within the students so they learn to use their gifts to serve Him and others.

Maintaining Ann Arbor Christian’s high academic standards and ensuring future growth requires funding above what we collect through tuition.  We ran a capital campaign to raise money for our new school from 2001 through 2005, and many contributors helped make our facility a reality.  Through this campaign we developed a diverse funding base that includes school families, church members, individual churches, businesses, alumni families, and charitable foundations.  These donations allow us to decrease the school's debt, support school programs, offer scholarships, and provide tuition assistance.  Due to their gifts, we currently owe only $740,000 (or 18.5% of the original cost) on our facility.   In addition, our new funding plan, for L.I.F.E., should, with God's blessing, raise sufficient capital for the future to eliminate our debt and provide for the next generation of AACS students.  For information on this important opportunity, please contact our Principal by e-mail.
